How do I find my IP address?

Your external IP address is:

Follow these instructions to view your internal IP address.

Windows

1. Open Command Prompt.
2. Type ‘ipconfig’ without the quotes.
3. Hit Enter.
4. View the information returned for either the ethernet or wireless connections. A line for IP will display your IP address.

Mac OS X

You may find your IP under System Preferences -> Network utility. Alternatively:

1. Open Terminal.
2. Type ‘ifconfig’ without the quotes.
3. Hit Enter.
4. View the information returned to see your IP address in the lines that begin with ‘inet’.
