HP has a wireless mouse that doesn’t use Bluetooth, has twice the battery life of other wireless mice, and doesn’t require a dongle. If those three features sound good, check out the HP WiFi Mobile Mouse. It is a laser mouse for optimum tracking with 5 customizable buttons. Its real trick is using the 802.11 WiFi protocol to communicate between the mouse and your computer up to 30 feet away.
It sounds pretty interesting and convenient. It will be available in June for $49.99.
In addition to the WiFi Mobile Mouse, HP is also introducing its Link-5 technology. Link-5 technology allows you to use up to 5 different wireless devices with only a single USB wireless adapter. A variety of Link-5-compatible keyboards and mice will become available in June and July of this year.
