Patches for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat have been released to address critical security issues and bring both applications up to 9.3.2. The final Security bulletin has not been posted yet and the security advisory is still in place, though it will be updated later. The updates are for both Windows and Macintosh systems.
Of interest, Adobe will be activating their new updater to push out this update to those that have more recent versions of the software. You can read more about this change from the Adobe Reader Blog entry. While, as of publishing, the updates have not been published to the Adobe Reader Updates site or Adobe Acrobat Updates site, you can find the .msp files to patch your applications to the latest version available through Adobe’s FTP site.
Stay tuned to 404 Tech Support for an article later today providing a walkthrough on how to use Group Policy to deploy Adobe Acrobat 9.3.2.
