Garmin has updated their line of GPS running watches with the Forerunner 735XT. The watch tracks your distance using GPS and a wrist-based heart rate monitor while you run, cycle, swim, hike, cross-country ski, strength train, or perform other cardio. This information can help you train better and motivate you to continue improving.
As an owner of previous versions of the Forerunner line, they have improved with each release for faster GPS connection time, lighter weight, and more features. The 735XT continues that trend with some marked improvements for those interested in multiple sports. The watchband is softer and more flexible than previous generations.
The watch also includes smart wearable features beyond your athletic training to allow automatic uploads of your data to Garmin connect, music controls, social media sharing, and smart notifications from your phone including incoming calls alerts, texts, and others with a vibration.
The Forerunner 735XT is available on Amazon.com for $449.99 in Midnight Blue/Frost Blue or Black/Gray for the base model or in bundles that include a heart rate monitor.
