Amazon has refreshed its Fire Family with updated tablets and a new Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
Amazon’s tablet line was updated with four new configurations.
The Fire tablet is the lowest costing tablet at $49.99, competing with features from a higher tier competing with the budget tablets from other companies.

The Fire TV Stick has been updated to have the better remote that was previously shipped with the Fire TV or sold separately. It now has the voice remote that allows you to search for content by simply speaking into the remote. The Fire TV and Fire TV Stick have also been updated to use Amazon’s Alexa (from the Amazon Echo) for smarter voice integration like asking for the forecast.
The Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote will release on October 22nd for $49.99.
The Fire TV set top box has been updated to support 4K TV and Alexa through the Voice search. It also has “75% more processing power, a dedicated graphics engine, better Wi-Fi support, 2 GB of memory, 8 GB of storage and expandable storage of up to 128 GB”.
The new Amazon Fire TV will be released on October 5th for $99.99 and you can pre-order now.
Fire TV Gaming Edition is a bundle of the new Fire TV supporting 4K video with a game controller, a 32 GB microSD card, and two games (Shovel Knight and DuckTales: Remastered).
