In what seems like it should be an April Fools Day joke, Amazon announced today that it is looking into the use of drones to enable more immediate delivery. The online retail giant has already disrupted the market significantly. Even recently, it announced Prime Sunday deliveries for select metro areas in a partnership with the USPS.
Before you plan on your last minute holiday shopping, Amazon says they will have to wait for FAA rules to allow Amazon Prime Air deliveries. They’re expecting that to happen around 2015.
