A small or medium business may feel that it already does not have enough resources at its disposal to be “wasting” time and effort to maintaining an online presence. On the contrary, that online presence could determine the difference between surviving and thriving for that business. More customers will find out about you, know your hours, and what you offer so they’re more likely to visit your physical presence or buy directly from your site.
I find it very frustrating with businesses around me that don’t have websites. It is so easy to get a good website online. Instead I have no phone number to call or website to visit to find out when they’re open or if they carry a particular item.
