The year is 2013 and while walking through big box electronics retailers, I still hear the employees making the sales pitch to customers that they should buy a Mac because they don’t need antivirus. The security landscape for the Mac OS X operating system has changed and even Apple has taken a step back from its invulnerable stance and to work more with security researchers.
Kaspersky’s blog created an infographic that shows the modern security threatscape for Apple’s Mac OS X following the Flashback/Flashfake malware that spread last year.
