The Amazon Echo is a Bluetooth speaker that houses the digital assistant Alexa. She can listen and answer your questions. The latest hardware from Amazon gives Alexa a camera for still images and videos so now Alexa can see you.
The Echo Look uses its voice-activated camera to see the clothes you wear. With the help of a little machine learning, it can help recommend what to wear based on current styles and what clothes flatter you. You can make the call yourself by using the camera and video as a full length mirror. The pictures can then be added to an app for your ‘look book’ so you can review your wardrobe wherever you are, such as when you’re shopping and you wonder if these pants will go with that top you already have.
The Echo Look is currently only available through invitation. You can request an invite through the Echo Look page on Amazon. It costs $199.99, that’s $20 more than the Amazon Echo.
