AOL mail voice: You’ve got money.
Need to send somebody some money? You can now use the Gmail app on Android to send it just like you would send a picture. Simply compose a message and choose the Attach paperclip. Then choose Send Money. Enter the amount to send from your Google Wallet account and send your message.
The person receiving the money will get an email where they can claim the money and send it straight to their bank account.
You can also request money from a person in a similar fashion by sending an email and requesting money from the attachment menu.
You can already do this in Gmail on the web and now the functionality comes to the Gmail app on Android. You just have to have a debit card attached to your Google Wallet account. The feature is currently only available in the U.S. See today’s blog announcement from Google for more information.
