We’ve had ‘Her‘, a movie about falling in love with your digital assistant. Now, we have ‘Operator’, a movie about a company developing a digital assistant. One of the programmers (Martin Starr) has his wife (Mae Whitman) provide the voice of their new assistant, Emily.
Joe, a programmer and obsessive self-quantifier, and Emily, a budding comedy performer, are happily married until they decide to use one another in their work.
Operator will be in US theaters November 8th.
