HP introduced their new HP Jet Fusion 3D printer line this week. It uses HP’s years of printing experience to refine the 3D printing process where other manufacturer’s have not accomplished. The HP Jet Fusion 3D 3200 Printer starts at $130,000 while the HP Jet Fusion 3D 3200 Printer and Processing Station is available starting at $155,000.
HP is also innovating with the materials used to print. They are planning a wider variety of thermoplastics in the future, glass beads, flame retardant materials and elastomers. As an open platform, the company also anticipates partners developing new materials available for the HP Jet Fusion to utilize.
