SharePoint Server 2016 Enterprise
SharePoint Server 2016 Enterprise enables organizations to create web sites to share information with others, manage documents from start to finish, and publish reports to help make better decisions. In addition to the server license, CALs are required to directly or indirectly access SharePoint Server 2016. The Enterprise CAL can only be purchased once the Standard CAL has been acquired, and allows one to access additional features such as calculated KPIs, Access Services, PerformancePoint Services, Excel Services, Infopath Forms Services, e-Discovery and Compliance.
SharePoint Server 2016 Standard
SharePoint Server 2016 Standard enables organizations to create web sites to share information with others, manage documents from start to finish, and publish reports to help make better decisions. In addition to the server license, CALs are required to directly or indirectly access SharePoint Server 2016. The Standard CAL allows one to access features such as Personalization, Publishing, Search, Records Center, Document Center, External Sharing, Work Management, App Catalog and Marketplace.
