I learn languages best by seeing examples and I also find reviewing previous scripts the best way to jog my memory into the languageās syntax. With that in mind, I created a quick PowerShell file that does not accomplish much but it covers the basics of the language. It shows output, variables, piping, conditionals, loops, and more.
I have been using PowerShell for a while in my IT administration duties but brushing up on the fundamentals never hurts and writing everything helps commit it to memory. My PowerShell Building Blocks script is below, using the WordPress GitHub Gist oEmbed.
