Oddly, Microsoft makes enterprises with deadlines and paying customers wait for the installers for Windows 10. While standard users were able to download the Windows 10 update starting last Thursday, Microsoft has just released the ISO installer to Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center customers.
From the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center, you can find the Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education downloads have now been updated to include an additional download for the November 2015 release. The ‘Release Date’ has remained at the same 8/1/2015 but the description text has been updated.
Windows 10 Enterprise builds on Windows 10 Professional adding premium features designed to address the needs of large and mid-size organizations, such as advanced protection against modern security threats, full flexibility of OS deployment, updating and support options; as well as comprehensive device and app management and control capabilities.
There are two downloads available for this Edition:
1. Windows 10 Enterprise (Released Jul ’15)
2. Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1511 (Released Nov ’15)Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1511 is a Current Branch and includes the latest updates and features. For Current Branch for Business install Windows 10 Enterprise (Released Jul ’15).
The download provides a second line to download the new release, as a slightly smaller ISO format. This is the case for Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education, both 32-bit and 64-bit.
You may now download the Windows 10 Threshold 2 update for your deployment testing. If you apply the KB3095113 hotfix to your WSUS server on Server 2012 or Server 2012 R2, you will be able to see the Windows 10 feature upgrades as a synchronization option.
