Not a big fan of Windows 10’s Quick Access? Wish it opened up to ‘This PC’ from the default taskbar-pinned icon instead? You’re in luck! With a simple setting change, we can have File Explorer open to this PC.
Step 1. Open File Explorer.
Step 2. Click the View tab.
Step 3. Click the Options button again.
Step 4. On the General tab of the Folder Options window, change the drop-down of ‘Open File Explorer to:’ from Quick access (the default) to ‘This PC’.
Step 5. Click the OK button.
That’s it. The next time that you launch File Explorer, it will take you to the same as This PC and show your drives instead of Quick access.
