Microsoft has shown off the new default Windows 10 wallpaper. Despite looking computer generated, the image is actually a photo, similar to Windows XP’s iconic Bliss wallpaper.
Microsoft sought out artist Bradley G. Munkowitz, also known for working on Tron: Legacy, to create the Windows 10 background. Using glass, lasers, smoke machines, colored filters, and crystal dust, the futuristic looking image was caught to show the Windows logo in a whole new light.
Microsoft shared the Behind the Scenes to show how the image was rendered on YouTube.
It would also make for a really cool boot animation.
