Ubiquiti, which provides the EdgeRouter Lite and Unifi APs, made an announcement today to introduce their EdgeRouter X. It is a 5-port gigabit Ethernet router with PoE passthrough at an MSRP $49. This halves the price of the EdgeRouter Lite, which was already a deal, though the EdgeRouter X has lesser hardware components. The EdgeRouter X is anticipated to arrive in June 2015.
