Apple just had a video-streamed event last month and yesterday they had another one. While the start of yesterday’s event certainly felt a lot like a recap of the September event, they did have a lot to announce. New hardware, new operating systems, and new services all had their place yesterday. You can watch the entire event in the video below.
Mac OS X Yosemite is out of beta and was released to the public as a free upgrade on the Mac App Store. Compatibility with devices is the same as Mavericks. OS X Server 4.0 is available from the Mac App Store for $19.99.

Apple introduced a 27-inch iMac with a Retina 5K display giving it a resolution of 5120 x 2880. It starts at $2,499 on the Apple Online Store.

Apple also announced the iPad Air 2, an even thinner iPad. They made it thin by removing the airgaps (What’s the iPad Air without the airgaps?). Sadly, it doesn’t have the laser accessory that this video implies.
They also announced a similar spec refresh for the iPad Mini 3.
