Pressy is a way to change the physical interface of any Android device. It’s a small single button that fits inside the 3.5mm headphone jack. Available in 4 colors, the button keeps a slim profile on your phone or tablet. It is then able to be programmed through the Pressy app for what you want the button press to trigger.
You might think a single button would only be able to do a single task but it can actually be programmed quite diversely using a code similar to Morse code with short or long presses and multiple presses able to trigger unique commands. One short press might open your phone app while one long press opens your camera app and so on.
After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, Pressy is open for pre-order. The button costs $27 for one button and is discounted if you purchase 2 or 3 at a time. In addition to the button, you also get a simple holder that can connect to your keychain and hold the Pressy button while you use the headphone jack.
