Apple’s App Store celebrates 5 years with free apps

Apple is celebrating its 5th anniversary of the App Store. For one thing, it dropped the lawsuit against Amazon for using the name ‘App Store’. Secondly, it is giving away popular apps and games for free. The App Store turned five on Wednesday.

If you open up the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or through iTunes, you will see the 5 Years of the App Store banner to take you to the deals.
