Toolz.me is a simple web service designed to allow you to keep track and share all those little web service tools that you use. You sign up with your Twitter account and choose a profile URL to get started and that’s it. You can share your profile URL with anybody so they can see your list of links and find the latest things you’re playing with.
Once you have your profile created, you just add your tools to the list by filling in a name, link, and description. It’s that easy. Once it’s added to your profile, it’s a link to the tool. It’s a handy little bookmark service specifically targeting web services. It could definitely use some improvements as you can only add or delete links. Being able to re-order and edit a link would be nice to have. Basically, make it intuitive and flexible like WorkFlowy. It’s early on in the life of the application so hopefully these basic features will be coming along with some others to really give it some zing.
You can share your profile URL with friends, family, or co-workers so if you mention a cool tool to them, they can just go find it in your list instead of trying to search for it themselves. Whether you’re storing web apps, cloud software, portable apps, discussion forums, or just links to helpful websites, you can share them easily with Toolz.me. What the future holds for this site has the potential to be really cool like helping discover new tools. Keep up to date on the service at http://toolz.me.
