The Samsung and Google event that was planned for Tuesday, October 11th has been delayed. It was believed that this would reveal Ice Cream Sandwich and the Nexus Prime. Even though a teaser video was just released the other day, they’re delaying the event. My speculation would be that they’re feeling less pressure to follow on the heels of Apple’s presentation since the iPhone 4S wasn’t as compelling as an iPhone 5 might have been.
According to Engadget, this official statement was released.
Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced.
Hopefully this is just the announcement that is moving back and not the release date.
