I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice this failure. The new Sound Recorder application that comes with Vista/Win7 has signicantly reduced functionality and a worse interface compared to previous versions.
I used to be able to do a whole lot with the Sound Recorder. Now, I just go and start downloading Audacity or some other editor.
