March 31st is World Backup Day! Do you know where your backups are?

Today is World Backup Day. It’s just a friendly reminder to make sure all your valuable files, pictures, videos, documents, or whatever are all securely backed up. If it’s been a while since the last time you backed up, it’s time to copy them to an external drive, burn a DVD, or upload them to an online storage system. You have plenty of options and no excuse to complain when your computer crashes later and you lost some precious files to a flaming hard drive.

This is the first celebration of World Backup Day but it aims to become an annual event. It started and gained traction on Reddit.
