At ui.linksys.com, you can find a long list of the different router models and DSL modems Linksys has put out over the years. Following the link for a model number will land you on a page that provides you with a simulated version of the user interface you would see as if you typed in 192.168.1.1 with the device connected.
Having the user interface available can prove very helpful in tech support situations when you’re trying to walk somebody through making a change to their router over the phone.
In addition, there are other Cisco products like the FlipVideo software UI that is made available through a Flash-powered interface.
Similar to the HP BIOS Simulators, it’s great to see companies providing this information. Hopefully the Linksys UI site will stay up despite the traffic it’s probably receiving today.
