The Windows 7 Public Beta is available for download now. Following the Microsoft keynote speech by Steve Ballmer, the Windows 7 Public Beta is available here for preview and testing by the public.
I think Microsoft is doing a good job generating hype and publicity for this release to recover from Vista’s marketing failure. We can also hope that a beta open to the public will generate more feedback and bugs reported so that we get the best final product possible.
It is available in 32-bit and 64-bit, with English, German, Arabic, Hindi (32-bit only) and Japanese languages.
Select which version you want and download the Windows 7 Public Beta.
You may have to wait some time as I am currently getting a ‘Server is too busy‘ message after signing in with my Live ID.
*Update on Windows 7 Beta Availability
Due to very heavy traffic we’re seeing as a result of interest in the Windows 7 Beta, we are adding some additional infrastructure support to the Microsoft.com properties before we post the public beta. We want to ensure customers have the best possible experience when downloading the beta, and we will be updating this page once the beta goes live. Stay tuned! We are excited that you are excited!
