Creative Docs.NET is an alternative to Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. It offers vector-based graphics for making drawings, posters, and more. I’m nothing of an artist, so I enjoy all the tools I can find that help me make something sharp-looking despite my left-brain failings.
From 2-d & 3-d shapes to text, importing bitmap images, and offering measurement lines, you can do an awful lot with Creative Docs.NET without having to shell out the cash for those other programs that do the same thing. Since it’s free, I believe it’s always worth checking out before you make an investment in the commercial programs.
Unfortunately the only types of files Creative Docs can open or .crdocs files, meaning there isn’t cross-compatibility with the Adobe and Corel products. You can only save as .crdocs as well, but you can export to multiple image formats: PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and ICO.
Creative Docs.NET is in active development so there will be new versions available and new features might become available as well. Download Creative Docs.NET.
